Dirty,I drive a truck coast to coast and I'm glad MOST team's allow me to play nightly. And they are kind about letting me play, JUST so they get to play also. You seem alittle PEEVED about a player wanting to play OUTSIDE of his team. ISN'T THAT WHY WE GO TO THE PARK IS TO PLAY and NOT BE OUTSIDE OF THE PLAYING AREA!!! I haven't seen this player play,BUT, I'd like to. And I play all Classes up or down when I travel. If he is a STUD and a player, let him play whereever and whenever he wants. Our 50 Major team played at Champaign last year with 9 and didn't win many, BUTT, we paid to play and did the best with what we brought. BRUCE, I know what your going thru, our team only played 3 tourney's DUE TO " TEAM PLAYER'S " playing GOLF rather than SOFTBALL last year. What part of Ga. do you live in and where do you play. Maybe I can get a run in your area and play or see you play. Does your complex have truck parking.

Discussion: Cost to travel to tournaments anybody else feeling the pinch

Jimmy#7-55AAA-I feel if more teams and manager's would post the tourneys there going to it would help everybody decide which one's would be worth the travel. We have all gone to tourneys where we go to play and just four teams in a division R less. Then as usual they combine divisions and your playing upper teams R lower teams. And then next year no one shows and there no TOURNEY at all. Is there room for this somewhere on the board for teams to post WHERE R WHEN THERE PLAYING? GOOD LUCK THIS YEAR TO EVERYBODY AND MAY GOOD HEALTH BE HAD TO ALL.....HAVE A BLESSED DAY

Discussion: Rule changes - where are all the Major Plus players opinions?

Good afternoon to everybody!! I've been reading all the comment's about the NEW MAJOR CHANGE'S. Now is time to all step up and let's take care of EACH OTHER and OURSELVE'S!!! I suggest we let the MAJOR and + player's call the AA and AAA game's. And the AA and AAA player's call the MAJOR and + game's. The tournament fee SHOULD BE $300, with a SAVING'S of $150+ to EACH TEAM. EACH TEAM CAN PLAY TWO TOURNAMENT'S AND SAVE THE AMOUNT TO ENTER THE NEXT TOURNAMENT. RESULT MORE TEAM'S AT MORE TOURNAMENT'S AND MORE COMPETITION. Also I suggest we have a player pool at each tournament. Say five AA and five AAA player's, which would be allowed to even a division of play to a even number. And the same for Major and Major + player's also. BUTT, the pool player's must be registered one month in advance of the tournament date. Who know's we might have as many as two to three team's formed in the pool. Also the player's entered for the pool BY DATE REGISTERED WILL BE ON THAT TEAM. THIS WAY YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE PLAYER'S SEEING WHO IS ON THE POOL LIST. Just a thought player's for SAVING and WHO KNOW'S MORE ABOUT OUR SENIOR RULE's THAN SENIOR'S. AND WHO DO WE ENJOY MOST AND LIKE TO VISIT WITH BUT SENIOR'S. SEE YA'LL SOON-Jimmy#7

I forgot to mention that myself and two other's were the only 50 MAJOR player's and 9 player's are AAA and 2 player's were AA. Just friend's and wive's that see each other at tournament's and say "MAYBE WE CAN GET TOGETHER AND PLAY". FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME AND COMPETITION. PLAY HARD HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE GAME'S SAFELY. Good Luck Bagey's- HI LUMPY. JIMMY#7

I'm sorry to hear that a 55 major is allowed to be in the Dalton tournament! I talked to Ridge three times in one day, because I was putting a 55 team together for this tournament. The "ESCAPE" for Ridge was, MYSELF and player's-( ALL OF US OVER THE 55 MARK) had not played in any of the QUAIFIER'S together as a TEAM. All of us wanted to just play-NOT LOAD UP TO WIN...JUST PLAY. My player's and myself had been let down by OUR OWN TEAM'S-PLAYER'S-with OTHER PROBLEM'S. I think maybe the day's of just WANTING TO COMPETE and PLAY ARE OVER. TOO MANY MEETING-AND TOO MANY TEAM'S BUYING THERE WAY INTO TOURNAMENT'S. Maybe TOO many team's PAYING for MULTIPLE TOURNAMENT'S and THINKING THEY CAN HAVE THERE WAY IN THE ASSOCIATION'S and tourney's.

I alway's look for the MOST NERVOUS PERSON IN THE INFIELD OR the OUTFIELDER THAT'S HAVING A BAD DAY AND TRY AND MAKE THERE DAY WORSE, BY HITTING IT CLOSE BUT NOT TO THEM...AND STRECHING THE HIT FOR EXTRA BASE'S..It work's MOST OF THE TIME

Discussion: Wish we could put the illegal bat doctoring talk to rest

Follow Ball Player's in response to the illegal bat ISSUE: ALL ASSOCIATION'S SHOULD POST A HALL OF SHAME LIST AT ALL COMPLEX'S: To include PICTURE, SOCIAL SECURITY, DRIVER'S LICENSE #, ADDRESS, STATE, AND TEAM BARRED FROM!!! If the person were to be SHOCKED BACK INTO " I MIGHT NOT GET ENJOY THE GAME OF SOFTBALL OR TO BE ABLE TO PLAY AGAIN"..Maybe that would be ENOUGH!!! BEING ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN---FROM THE STAND'S--Just a idea..

In the future a map should be opened and the local teams play the early games..Less distance Early Games..The wait in between games was ROUGH...And NO WATER AT THE FIELD'S..But the WIND was FREE..There were some good teams and ALOT of GOOD PLAY'S at the tourney..I hope all the tourney's are that competitive..Jimmy#7

Discussion: What's the call?

Gentleman: It's the Umpire's job to check the bat's and KNOW what bat's are ALLOWED BEFORE THE GAME!! As at any tournament there's a LETTER POSTED: What 's legal and NOT-ALLOWED...The penalty for using an altered or illegal bat is as follows: If the batter hits the ball with an altered or illegal bat, the ball is dead, the batter is out, EJECTED from the game and/or tournament, and immediately reported to the Tournamnet Director--State Director--For consideration of Disbarment Procedings.Have a good day Gentleman..Jimmy#7
