Topic: Tournaments
Discussion: Awards for championship teams

Just participated in the Winter Nationals and our team finished first out of 12 teams. The only award for individuals was a jacket that was obvioulsy purchased for less than $15.

With the amount of money we pay to enter these tournaments and the expense of travel, we have more investment in SSUSA than they put in us.

To win a National tournament with 12 competing teams, SSUSA must improve their awards.

We were told that this was the largest senior tournament East of the Mississippi. With 140 teams paying over $500 to enter, your choices for awards was at best, WEAK. (Sunglasses for 2nd place?)

Do the math. SSUSA can afford to give champions better awards.

Very disappointed!
