Is it one of the "HotW's"?
It would be nice if Dudley is going to add a balanced bat for 2020 they do it before the season starts to provide an opportunity to assess the bat. I already purchased the new SUNCOAST balanced just so I could get it broken in in time for Bullhead City the first of March!

Dudley has the Mastery, the blue Nifong, the new orange one piece and the 2-piece HotW. All are end loaded.

But no balanced bat from Dudley so far for 2020!

I have been swinging the Dudley Lightning Legend (white/green) balanced and it started doing exactly what you describe during the last third of last year's season. Lost it's pop for the most part and gets a lot of curious looks when hitting and dropping the bat. It's obvious that something inside has broken loose. The outer shell is fine! Someone mentioned that there is a bar inside that has come loose, but I have no idea if that is true.

Thanx Gentlemen for the opinions. I too am inclined to wait for March/April to purchase a Suncoast (IF I decide to step away from Dudley) as our weather here in the Great Northwest is pretty marginal temperature wise to be hitting $250 bats! Our hitting club gets new model bats occasionally but it's hard to tell with these temperatures.
lb16, best of luck with the recovery. I've had both shoulder rotator cuffs repaired, one major surgery and the other arthroscopy. No fun!!!

Interesting opinions on the two new end loaded Suncoast bats. I had a brief opportunity to swing both recently (no more than ten swings each) so I can't offer too much regarding the end loaded. What I am wondering is whether anyone has swung the balanced version (black/white) and can provide any insight? Thanx in advance and Happy Holidays!

The Dudley Nifong.....That's an end-loaded bat, correct? I think the Dudley "Mastery" bat is out but what about the 2020 Dudley one piece Lift?

That's what I heard this past weekend in Salem. But no one seems to know any details, like weights and whether there will be more than one model (balanced, end loaded or max loaded).

Has anyone heard of or does anyone know anything regarding the newest Dudley bats that are supposed to be coming out, the Dudley Lift, one piece, 2020?

I have heard that some of the HotW 14" bats that are being sent out for replacement are having the same issues, except for the ones with serial numbers beginning with 131 and 161. Those batches appear to be holding up well.
