Vincemelo, as I understand it, a player is allowed ONE release per season and may not return to his original team. See the FORMS section for player release form instructions.

Yes you can now play 75, the rule was rolled back in Sep.
Rule allows 5 players of 74 to play on a 75 team!

" VEGAS -- The National Rules Committee met in a special session during the World Championships here and voted to roll back the 75 and 80 division roster rules.

The committee had voted in January to limit the number of underage players on both 75s and 80s rosters. This most recent vote reversed that decision. The roster rule will remain the same for both age divisions:

Men’s 75s teams may draw up to five underage players, all age 74."

Hsquared, thanks!! That works as work-around but I'll have to research further. Wow, I've been struggling with that for months! Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Discussion: Can't open Game Sched & Brkt links

I know this is technical and not really softball but I can't open the schedules!!

Anyone else experienced this problem?

While using any mobile Android devices (cell & tablet), I’ve been unable to open the SSUSA Game Schedules & Brackets links (using Chrome), I get no error message but the file never loads, it just spins & spins until time out.

Problem seems to be unique to my mobile android devices but not my Chromebook. I’ve spent much time researching the problem but none of the remedies work. I’m sure it must be in a setting somewhere?

Thanks

Don't quote me on this, but I spoke with a member of the State Roofing team and he told me that they had won in Reno but I don't recall who they played.

Wow!, I was pleasantly surprised to see the scores posted so soon. Since I left right after our "elimination" game I was curious to know who had won...

Great job posting the scores so quickly!!

I too had a DEAD Miken Ultra II Maxload 1.21 bpf (Red bat), unfortunately I bought it used about a month ago from eBay and it looked like it was brand new when I received it!. After several days of BP I wondered why it didn't feel like it had much pop...now I know why! I eventually sold it to a friend and he is having the same problem...do you think Miken will still allow a return? I'd like to give him a new bat if I can.

Doorman, you are correct, our team also won our bracket and I was very disappointed with the CHEAP Miken bat bag award which I will never use...I couldn't even give it away!

Although there was a nice plaque awarded but the team Manager gets that!

Since this was supposed to be a major tournament it would have been nice to "sport" some kind of casual recognition that your team won a "ring tournamt" without having to buy the ring.

I like your idea of a cap that reads something like "SSUSA Cal Cup Champions 2012", now that I would wear alot!

In a few years I may not even remenber that we won that tournament!

Budda12, good idea because sometimes SSUSA doesn't post the results for longer than 2 wks!
I'm still waiting to see who won at the SSUSA/LVSSA SW Championships in Las Veas last month!!

Discussion: auto-return w/team or must be reinvited each yr?

A question regarding a returning team's "next year roster".

Do players on your team (anyteam) assume he can continue with his current team for the next year if not told otherwise or should everyone have to be "re-invited" each year?

I think most players assume they're still on the team unless told otherwise...

How do most returning teams handle this?
