Johnny you never said how many rings you have. LC7.. "Sparky" is a name we use a lot in the dugout on the team among others. "come on sparky get a hit" nothing disparaging about that we use it to fire up the batter amoung others. Our dugout is never boring you need kinda thick skin to be a part of it. The wives even get into the fun form the stands nobody on the team is immune form a little ribbing now and then. Just about every player on the team also has a nickname to keep it loose in the dugout and on the field. One of the jabs is "put a band-aid on that cut" and there are so many more its almost never ending. The other teams compliment us on how well we get along and like the one liners. O-ya almost forgot we DO win a lot. |

Did you get your get rings from the gumball machine at the grocery store or did you get them from Chuck E Cheese pixie I here there slightly bigger there. I bet your batting avg of 700/800 every game. Remember life is all about making adjustments even at Chuck E Chees LOL LOL. If using "EXACTLY" is all you have to come back at me with you need to make major adjustments. Everything in your last post is very laughable especially about not being able to make adjustments on the fly you must not win a whole lot of tournaments. All sports are all about making adjustments as needed. Sounds like to me all your wanting is a belly button high pitch right down the middle, Im here to tell the other teams wants to win also and a good pitcher will take advantage of the umpire and his weakness right along with the batters weakness I'm not up there batting looking for a walk ill hit the first good pitch I see, that way I dont leave in the umpires hands to make the right call. See it all about adjustments!! Everything you do in life is all about making adjustments and remember the umpire/umpires makes calls for both teams, learn to the take advantage of this and make adjustments you'll win more games and not out of the tournament on Saturday. |

I have a few question concerning the testing and I'm asking these questions I wanna know if this testing is fair for all players. *If you test one bat you need to test all the bats, its only fair. Why is there only a select few bats being tested? *If there is two testing machines being use at a park are both machines calibrated to read exactly the same. If one tester reads out at 141 and the other tester reads out at 139 how is this fair for one tester that says your bat is legal the other tester says your bat is illegal and your looking at the senior softball death sentence? * Are all testers at all the parks calibrated to read the same ? * Is the person testing the bats certified/trained on operating the tester? * How often is the testing machine or machines calibrated? * Are the testing machines certified by and independent testing company? Just trying to figure out if I need to buy a new bat every 6 months or what the answer is because just looking at a bat you won't be able to tell if its legal or not and I don't want find out at the park. |

Did a survey of 25 random posters on this site and came up with 22 poster were ANONYMOUS does that qualify them as a mystery posters as you say??? If I was playing on the same team as you and you RATED out a player on the team it would be either you or I leaving the team ASAP!!! I don't play with RATS!!!! Whatever happened to what happens in the dugout stays in the dugout. The something goes for what happens on the road stays on the road. You never see or hear of pro baseball, pro hockey players etc etc spilling what goes on in the locker rooms it stays in the locker rooms between players. RATS are not tolerated in any sport. The person using the illega bat will get caught sooner or later hopefully sooner. The unwritten rule in sports is you don't RAT out teammate or you can hit the road. Ive always played by the unwritten rule and seen alot of teammates from high school up through college and pro sports hitting the road and in pro sports traded or demoted to double AA. The illegal bat user you never probably see again, but the RAT you will see in just about every tournament, players will be asking and pointing there finger saying there is the RAT. I wouldn't want that TAG(name)to follow me around the rest of the time I play softball. |

I have had my bats tested multiple time at tournaments in the past 8-10 months. As for my rings I WON them legally and won a bunch of them when senior softball handed out rings like chiclets back 15/20 years ago and have 3 world rings, I'm just waiting to win one for my thumb and its for my other thumb and "ALL WITH LEGAL BATS" again "ALL WITH LEGAL BATS", GRAY, if you knew of a player whether on your team or on another team using a loaded bat would you RAT him out? |

People are entitled to few mistakes in there life time just as long as they don't hurt other people. Shaveing or rolling a ball is Illegal yes and the friend will have to pay the price but he doesn't need to loose friends for bad judgement. What I don't understand from what Ive read and heard is people disowning a friend for this. WHY DO YOU GUYS PUT SOFTBALL AS PRIORITY #1, FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND WORK NEED TO BE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST. You guys who put SOFTBALL at the top over FAMILY AND FRIEND AND WORK need your head examined, softball needs to be near the bottom or at the bottom of the priority list. Friends and family is all you will have when softball ends which is sooner then you think. |
