I have been off of here since April. I heard that Gary19 got booted off. Correct me if I am wrong, but is not "TheNextGeneration" really the old Gary19? Yeper, I think it is.

Some compression/sliding pants (McDavid) have a pocket to insert a cup on the outside and use a cup with a padded edge. I use a thimble and some rubber cement.

pete 88: I hear your pain brother. After blowing out an ACL 2 weeks before my 50th birthday, I thought that my world was at an end. Your mind tells you one thing, but the body says another. I do not think that anyone here is qualified to help you with that decission, how ever I would suggest this....When you go to your doctor for your annual visit, ask him for suggestions on your ham string problem and then one other thing, ask him to tell you when he thinks it is time to hang it up. Then it's all up to you.

Good Luck.

Gary19:

Things have changed. Terry is taking a serious look at also having a 50 AA team, in addition to the 55 AA team (which is set). He is looking at players from all over the state of Ohio. Like they say "If you win, they will come".

Good luck in 2007.

It was about 65-70 indoor last night, and we were using good balls that were hand pitched Utrip style. There is not the normal "Spider Webbing", these are "Even Straight Line Fractures" all over the htting surface. I have never seen this before. I got in about 80 hits last night. I will give it some more hits/time, to see if it comes around.

Einstein: You got to love the "Free Market" and Latin (Barium Enema). People produce items that have no warranty, and we scoop them up at $200.00 a pop, and for what...a little more edge. Hey....anything out of the Summit?

Thank's guys, I will report on it's progress later.

I have been reading alot about bats lately on this message board. I have a new Ultra II all broken in. I just recieved a new Com Bat 28oz end loaded By Anaconda. I used it tonight at indoor batting practice. At first it was like hitting with a pipe. I rotated it a little after each hit. I hit around 80 pitched balls. At the end, the balls started to jump a little. How many balls have to be hit, before it might be considered broke in?

Discussion: Lasik Eye Surgery

I would say that the best thing anyone could do is to find a doctor that doe's this surgery, and go and get an exam. Most give free exams. Check with people that you know. Everyone knows someone that has had this surgery. Do not be mis-lead by low prices. Sometimes after your surgery, you my need to go back in for a tune-up within the first 6 months. Somtime the lower prices do not cover this. Go...Ask questions. It was the best thing I have had done, with the exception of a vasectomy...but that is a whole nother story. How many guys out there found that after having a vassectomy.....you no longer get "Nut Pulls" from streatching out a run to first base or the sound of metal casanets shortly after the surgery? LOL !! LOL !!

Discussion: Lasik Eye Surgery

I had the correction done about 3 years ago. They did a mild Mono Vision on me. It was the best money I have ever spent, however, when they correct with Mono Vision, have them make your distance eye the one cloest to the pitcher....If you are a right handed batter, make your left eye the distance eye. The big difference comes during night games....no glare from the lights.

Discussion: injections for O/A knees

chopper: Are you thinking of "SYNVISC"? It is made in part from roosters (chicken) combs. You get 1 injection in each knee for 3 weeks. It helps lube the knee and joint. As we get older, the lube pad behind the knee cap breaks down. If you play hard, it should last 6-8 months. I have used it for 4 years, with great results. You start to feel better about 5 weeks after starting the injections. You will most likely have to get pre-approved by you insurance company.

Hey Chuck:

I would not consider any team from that state up north for anything. Leaving for Ft. Myers. Will talk to you soon. Henne is related to me. Joe don't need two legs to coach.

Your Ohio State buddy.

Discussion: IMPORTANT NOTICE

Gentleman/ladies:

I want to thank all of you, for your input/help. This blog and the "Altered Bat Update" is at it's end. I now walk away from this subject, unless SSUSA wishes to speak with me. I sincerely hope that the SSUSA and all the other associations adapt (Unified) statement/rules, to stem the use of "ALtered Bats", I wish all of you to Play Hard, but Play Safe.

Sincerely,
