I currently hit a 2016 27 oz.Miken Big Cat. Do you think I could swing a 27 oz. Rocket launcher or does that 1 1/2oz end load make a difference compared to the 1oz Big cat

Discussion: Endload?

With the new Miken Ultra ll Black Big Cat have patience. I have one with 400 hits and one with 200 hits . I feel it starts to break in at 300 and just gets better. I hit with the one with 200 at B.P. last week and was hitting around 300ft. But the one with 400 I have hit 330-340ft shots . Like I said Have patience. These Bats are a different type than most of us are use to

Discussion: New Glove - Break in

I have Nokona gloves. I only use there conditioner on the glove. The best way to break a glove in is to play catch and if you have a ball with a handle attached and pound on the pocket. Make sure to break the hinges in on the glove. I condition the inside a lot but only do the outside a couple times a year to keep the back of the glove stiff. The Nokona website has a video on the proper way to break in a glove.

Discussion: 2016 Miken U2 Maxload

I have a 27 oz.Miken Ultra 2 Black Big Cat. It has around 400 hits on it . Played a doubleheader today 300 ft fences and went 8 for 8 with 4 home runs. The ball just explodes off the barrel. This bat will only get better. I tell other guys if they buy the new Miken Black that u better have patience in breaking them in. They do take a little time but the end results are awesome

Discussion: Bat Selection Question

The new Miken Ultra 2 Black are as good or better than the Dudleys. You have to have the PATIENCE of hitting around 400 hits before it starts breaking in. I have hit the Dudley and like it but my new big cat is just opened up and the ball is flying off the bat and I feel it is only going to get better.

Discussion: Release of new Miken Ultra II Black

I just got back from hitting the new Miken Ultra ll Black Maxload and Miken Ultra ll Black Balanced. These are a very comfortable bats to swing and we were hitting 320' plus with each bat and we only have 75 hits on them. I am a endloaded guy but this New balanced Miken is real nice.I also want to thank Alan Tanner for his great customer service and being a great guy for getting these bats to California so fast.

Discussion: Dudley Lighting

I have two Dudleys a 12" and a 13" E/L. Keep hitting and it will open up around 150-200. The sound off the bat will change. My 12" has a little more handle flex than 13" but they are real nice bats if you take the time to break them in. I also have a Miken Big cat and a Miken Maxload. It took awhile for them open up but once they did the ball flys off them. My feelings that the Dudleys will do the same

Discussion: Anyone find relief for piriformis syndrome?

Bogie I had the same problem a year ago. I did not play for 7 weeks. I went to physical therapy. Lots of motrin and ICE and lots of walking and stretching. The hardest thing to do was not to play but I am glad that I did.I still have a glute problem when I play to much but I know how to deal with it now.I think this is something that will always be there. I think the best thing to do if possible is to rest and lots of ICE. Hope this helps

Discussion: Asa bats

With those 52-300 compression balls the best ASA bat is the Miken Triad Extreme. The bat will be more durable hitting those balls than the 375 compression ball.Alot of pop from this bat. After talking with Miken I am waiting for the Miken Physco maxload to use with the 375 balls. The triads are built for the 300 balls. Awesome bat

Easton makes a bat sleeve so it will keep the bats insulated from the cold. I am not to worried about the heat but my garage can get cold. These sleeves zip on and cost about 9 dollars. If they save one bat they have done there job
