Discussion: 62 looking for 2024 Team

We may be able to figure something out. I manage a team made up of players age 60+ primarily from Iowa. My email address is Kjryankee@gmail.com. Send me your contact information and I'll give you a call.

Looking forward to talking with you.

Discussion: Maintaining our team's rating

I am looking for a little guidance and input here. Our team was recently re-rated to 60 AA. Over the winter a couple of players jumped to another team, one player indicating his plans to retire and a couple of health situations have affected our roster to the point where we find ourselves in need of having to find at least a couple of additional players in order to play in the summer of 2021. I would like to know where we might be able to draw players for our roster without jeopardizing our new rating. For example: 1)can a player from a 65AAA team join us? 2) how about a player from a 65AA team? 3) how about a player from a 55AA team? 4) how about someone who has never played senior softball? Thanks

Discussion: POSTING ALL SCORES IN 2017

My question is why can't scores for all Qualifier tournaments be posted -- not just the TOC qualifiers. It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult of a task.

Discussion: Las Vegas Results for 55's

I see a mixture of results being posted. Some from as recent as this past weekend have been posted, while results from other games played earlier have yet to be posted. I was wondering if someone will be completing the pool play and brackets results for the Men's 55.

Thanks

Unfortunately at this point we are not set. What age group and level are you looking for?

Depends where we find enough players. We thought it was going to be 55 but now we may stay 50 to get enough players.

The Antiques are still looking for players for the coming season. We are open to 50+ if need be to find a couple more players to fill out our roster. We are eager to hear from any interested players in hopes that we can get our roster settled in time to register for the Milwaukee tournament.

Sounds good -- I played a lot in Davenport in my younger years. Does your local team play in tournaments?

Gary -- do you have a team to play on this summer? We are an 55 Iowa based team that could be looking for another player or two this summer. Let me know if you have an interest?

Do you have any interest in playing in tournaments around the midwest next summer? We are a 50 AA team that may move up to 55 next summer. We play 5-6 tournaments each summer. If you have any interest let's talk soon. 563-940-0932

Discussion: finding results of tournies

It is great to see the results from the big tournaments. So how do we get results from the 'smaller' tournaments -- places like the Missouri Classis, or the Windy City, or the Badger Classic or the Quad Cities Tournament. Or most of the other non-Championships - I don't see results for most of the other tourneys. At very least I assume the results are all sent to the SSUSA office where they could be posted following the tournament.

As a 50 AA team we are looking for places we can play against teams within our own classification. We have been looking at tournaments from this past year for some indication for possibilities for next year but too many tournaments don't list either. It would be great to be able and look up who played in each tournament and the see results. The list of participants before the tournament and the results 1-2 weeks afterward. What does SSUSA expect after each tournament?
