Last year ended up not being fun at all! So much BS and disappointment, physical breakdown, emotional letdowns...blah blah blah !!!! Played 55 Major + last year, well, played mostly best 2 out of 3 game brackets because there wasn't any teams to play against.....traveled too far, paid too much for rooms, ect...to make it worth the time and money! So, I was thinking about this awhile back and here is my question: When a team pays their entry fee for a tournament, do they pay to play by the hour or pay to play by the games? I ask because last time I looked, a game in men's slow pitch softball is a "7 inning game", not a 50, 60, or 70 minute game! With there being a limit on runs in the first 6 innings I can't see there being any 2 hour games (unless the visiting team starts hitting the crap out of the ball in the 7th/open inning, scores 25 runs and the home team has to hit to win). As you can tell, I have a problem with this time limit thing they place on us as they put our hard earned money in their pockets! Hey, there's that $$$$$ in those who control the game issue again!! Anyway, just sayin!! Anyone else? A dik |

Might I suggest you not put $$$$$ into the pockets of those who control the game and keep swinging your "lower-tech weapon". | March 22, 2016 Adiktiv6 | Topic: Bats Discussion: New Adidas MeLee 2 Alan, at NO time did I state that you threw in a "Trump" ball or that you guys were using Trump balls...all I said was that the balls your team were using during the first game we played were HOT ! You took my statement the wrong way and for whatever reason got upset over it! Now, I recall what happened is this: while I was pitching both Posey (our catcher) and I noticed the difference in the balls we were using and the ball I was pitching! Posey called time out, came to me, we showed Tony the ball and he went and talked to the umpire. From that point I was out of the mix!! The next morning I did, however, notice that both teams were using the same balls! Those are the "facts" as I know it and that is the "truth" as I know it! Still 3 sides to the story, I will continue to stick to my side. We can continue volleying back and forth on this issue, but why do so! As Steve Austin says "I'll see you down the road" A dik |

As for the ball situation I speak of, well, I was pitching at the time so i know what I speak! Those were not balls that Pete gave to each team! You know it, your team knows it, I know it as does my team! You and our coach went back and forth over it! Team 1 Sports changed balls the next morning to the balls every other team was using! You never offered us to use your balls, never offered to buy new balls!! Really, I could care less ! I was just stating that those ball you were using were hot!! There are three sides to every story, your side, my side and what really happened! I will stick to mine, you stick to yours and as the X-Files says "The truth is out there" ! Anger is one of the signs of guilt, in case you didn't know and it reads like you're upset in your post....I'm gonna let you in on something, Alan.....I don't come home to you, I don't shower with you and I don't fall to sleep in your arms at night sooooo, you being angry or upset towards me means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me!
