I've been swinging 28oz end loaded Ambush bats for the last two years and they have given me the best compromise between performance and durability. I get about 250 cuts out of the Ambush before it cracks but it performs very well for me. It might seem like 250 swings out of bat is terrible but it is a senior bat and I can live with that.

I am in now way associated with Combat or even know Alan Tanner, I am just stating my experience with the Combat Ambush. I am sure the bat is not for everybody but as far as I'm concerned it's a pretty hot bat with decent (I use the term loosely becasue it's a senior bat) durability.

Regards,
Sergio Valdez

Alan,

I've been swinging a 28oz. end loaded Ambush the last couple of seasons and was wondering how the end load on the 28oz. Barrage compares to it?
