As long as the players are listed for that game on the lineup card as subs, they are good to run ( once an inning). Stick, a player as far as i know can run for another player then come to bat in the same inning ( of course as long as hes not on base when his turn to hit comes up ) and run for himself. |

All expenses have to be counted to get the full cost for each player in attendance. Yes the topic was the gate fee so going in when playing in Vegas i guess you should factor in the possibility of playing at BLD. |

I understand the displeasure with paying at the gate but $24 for 3 days isnt too bad. The price hike frustration came from the hotels in St George a couple weeks ago. What cost $600 for 3 nights the last few years was $1050 for 3 nights this year. Same hotel, not a holiday weekend. We will not be back next year. |

| April 7, 2022 AJC | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Home Run Rule This happened to us last year in Vegas at the Worlds. The other team has 2 runs in, runners on 1st and 3rd with 2 outs. The batter hits a OTF homer, the runner on 3rd comes running in and slides across the home plate line. That gave them their 5 runs so I was 1st up and walked up to the umpire and asked him if he saw what the runner from 3rd did. I didnt want an out like that but was checking to see if the umpire was paying attention. He tells me he did but didnt want to give them an out like that. I thought as soon as the ball went over the fence it was a dead ball and would not have mattered what the runners did but i was not completely sure. I liked the 1st part of his answer where he saw what had happened but did not care for the 2nd part of his answer. It left me wondering if he could have called him out but didnt. Im still not sure what the actual ruling should be after his answer. Should there have been an out there ? |

As for the batter goes, i guess it would be scored as whatever bag he acquired when the second run scored. If the batter would have hit it over the fence, then he'd get credited with a homer and the final score would be 20 - 18. |

| Aug. 12, 2021 AJC | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: World Championships in NV Bruce303, rooms everywhere have dramatically gone up. You definitely want to use the discount code this year. In the past it didnt seem to be that big of a savings but this year it helped a lot. We stay at South Point and we had a couple of guys book their rooms without using the code. They were originally going to be over $770 for Wed thru Sat nights. After re booking the rooms the cost was $462. Book now if you haven't already as the discounted price is about to expire for some of the hotels. The cost of plane tickets have also gotten somewhat expensive. |

He was 1 tough SOB, i remember playing against him in Nor Cal and seen him take a couple of absolute missles off his chest while playing 3rd base and 1 while he was pitching. I could not believe he would carry on like it was nothing. He was the only guy also that ove seen use a gardening glove as a batting glove. |

There was a little drop off in the afternoon when it got hot ( was over 100 both Friday and Saturday ) but the ball was an improvement over the ball that was used in Reno. I heard no complaints about the ball this weekend unlike Reno. |
