maybe someone who really knows will post on the issue, playing with the kids we use the last out its been like that for years so since you know so much tell me why ssusa did not put the last out rule in.

ok who here was on the rules committee when this rule was made, seems to me if they made it for a hurt player it would be the last out.its not, its unlimited runners for whatever reason, most senior teams travel to tournments so anyone think maybe its a way to get the players involved when its your turn to sit.so keep up saying its abused when you have to no clue if it is.

mad dog is right knee replacements, people with health issues like diabetes, maybe back is a little stiff,so what if you put a runner in to give them a break even a slower runner.a hot 99 degree day in humid weather maybe playing five games that day it will where your outfielders out.so put on your special shoes and put a runner in.

will you please send me a special bat i would really like one, none of mine say special they say ssusa approved, and yes i do care about safety yours mine and all the senior players who enjoy the game.do i want a bunch of crazy rules like screens or being forced to put on special equipment of course not.so yes i can advocate safety and the bats at the same time without being hypocritical

not even close to the same game, lets see home plate yep its there, first base yep seen that, second base sure i see it,third base seen that also and even a pitching rubber.i cant believe it its a softball field the same kind i played on in 1974.ok so we have an extra plate big deal i like it puts the catcher in the game.what else unlimited runners take advantage of it but could be changed to last out.nothing you can do about the equipment lots of sports have had the equipment get better someone always comes out with something better.
