I hear that Team Express was selling these bats for $99.86, shipping included. Maybe you should get realistic with your price.

Discussion: Just say no, to illegal/altered bats

Stoney, it is odd that many "big hitters" are using altered bats.
Just because they can crush it doesn't mean they aren't using altered bats.

I would guess that percentage-wise this type of hitters is the biggest class of "cheaters".
This is only a guess as I don't have any stats to back this up.

One more thing Stoney, when discussing this subject besure you use the word altered, not illegal.

I believe that the PST, a non composite bat, was a popular bat to shave.

I have also been told that if someone is using a PST in this day and time that it most likely has been shaved.

Think about it, how many major players sponsored by Worth do you see using a PST?

Getting rid of composites won't fix the problem.

Great hitters can also hit with a shaved bat. Soon it's going to be where the tournament director will be supplying the bats for all teams to use.

You hit the nail on the head MK. Some players need that extra incentive to produce.

My guess is that players that don't usually make the All Tournament team think there doesn't need to be recognition given for outstanding play.
