May 3, 2024 Curly67 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: New Bat testing standard Frankly I see this as an opportunity for someone to start a new service. Set up tent outside park with compression tester, charge $10 for one bat and $20 for three bats. Many guys have bats they either traded or bought from other players. Having an opportunity to have your bat tested prior to entering the park would give the guy or gal peace of mind. I have 5 bats, two from "dealers", one from a "rep", one traded and one bought from another player. Not fool proof. |
June 22, 2022 Curly67 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Cataract Surgery Had cataract surgery earlier this year, I opted for the PanOptix Lens. I went from needing glasses to read the paper one day, after the surgery, not needing any glasses to read. I would recommend the up graded lens. Can now work on projects without the need for any glasses. I also play outfield and have not any problems. I was playing two weeks after the procedure. Your brain will adjust to your new lenses. |

March 15, 2015 Curly67 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Not HAPPY with Bats Unlimited! Claims involving UPS, FedEx, USPS always start with the shipper. Bats Unlimited files claim, FedEx investigates. Bats were probably delivered to same number different street. FedEx may have messed up, however Bats Unlimited is not doing you right, they are the responsible party to make this right to you. Bats Unlimited should go after FedEx, and or change shippers. I have had dozen's of bats shipped with UPS & USPS with no problems. |
