| April 26, 2021 Coach7 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Brick yard I would agree, very poor tourney. Director had 4 teams scheduled on same field at same time. Couldn't get it figured out. Bathrooms were the poorest I have ever seen at any tourney. 9 team tourney, played the the same teams in bracket play that we played in pool play. Highly doubtful that we will back. $5 a day to get into the park, for what? Obviously not for park or bathroom upgrades. |

| May 5, 2019 Coach7 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Brickyard Another Brickyard debacle. It’s been pretty much the same results for the last 5 years. I know for our team, we probably won’t be coming back. The decision to cancel should have been made yesterday. I know I speak for a lot of other teams, for SSUSA it is all about the $$. Here’s an idea, maybe move the tourney to a different weekend. I get it it was cancelled for safety concerns, but to make all teams hang around for half of the games we were supposed to be guaranteed, is not right. Will SSUSA refund a night of hotel stays? No. We all pay good money to play a game we love, to be away from family for the weekends for most of us, and for some taking time away from the job that allows them to play. Get it together staff, make the decisions well ahead of time. Tony Chitown Assault #7 |

We are coming from Chicago, and many of my team need to make arrangements. It's kind of hard to do this when we don't even know when we play. An update would be appreciated. |
| May 23, 2017 Coach7 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Milwaukee Classic Rain out disaster Do any of the teams that participated in the Milwaukee Classic this past weekend, feel ripped off? I know there were teams that only played one game, some didn't even play, and my team didn't complete 2 full games. To call the games on Saturday afternoon, I get it because of the down pour. Then we get a call Saturday night saying they will start on Sunday at 9 with a 35 minute, 5 inning, 1 pitch tourney, only to wake up early Sunday morning to bright sunshine, and find out that the tourney has been cancelled!! When I asked what they were going to do about rescheduling the remainder of the tourney or refunding the teams a portion of their entry fee, they said "we will get back to you". We pay a lot of money to travel and play in these tournaments, and to have that kind of attitude is unprofessional. I have tried to reach out to the director in question, a few times via email and phone, and so far my attempts have been ignored. I certainly hope that the right thing is done and they either reschedule, or refund us our money. |
