Discussion: 2018 Easton Empire Endload 1 Piece (blue)

finally got to hit this weekend. This bat felt good. Ball came off the bat pretty quickly. Just have to see the durability of this bat. Only got to use it for a couple of games but it felt good.

Discussion: miken sunglasses with changable lenses

Hi ETDave, how do you change the lense, do you pull of the nose pad or just pull the lense out. Was looking at videos but none was for the miken glasses.
thanks

Discussion: softball shoes

Just wanted to find out if metal cleats could be used. I saw an ad for softball shoes but it was metal baseball cleats. I haven't seen anyone using metal baseball cleat shoes. I would think that you can't use it for safety reasons in SSUSA. I myself don't use metal cleats. Just wanted to find out if metal cleats could be used.
thanks (mahalo)

we still lost. umpire said he called the game once the player from third base scored, so the game was over.

had that happen in a game. we appealed before leaving the field. umpire said that run counted. game was tied at the time. game was over even though we appealed batter not touching first base. I guess the umpire got it wrong.

you have bases loaded and 2 out. batter gets a hit. runner at third scores. umpire calls the game. batter walks to the dugout without touching first. what is the ruling? does run count and game is over? what if team on field appeals that batter didn't touch first base but the umpire calls game over? What is supposed to be the ruling?

Discussion: what kind of stretching excise do you do before game time?

Hi Guys,
I just was interested in how much stretching or how to stretch before game time. I just pulled my Hamstring yesterday and it hurts like hell. I know I gotta stretch more before a game and was looking to see what else. I can do so I don't hurt so much anymore after my game.

Discussion: What is the call? Fair or Foul

sorry guys, I didn't mean to change the facts. I was changing the situation. It was meant to be if something different happened. sorry about the confusion. I guess like you all stated. It would be where the ball was at the time of touch but if that can't be determined it would be a judgement call.

ok, so what happen is the defender is straddling the line. One leg in fair territory and one on the foul side. Ball is close to the line. Can't really determine if it will be foul or fair. Defender tries to catch it hits their glove but it lands foul. I guess this would be a judgement call for the umpire as the moment of first touch wouldn't be determined.
thanks

what happens if a batter hits a ball that is going to be a foul ball but close to the fair line. If the defender let the ball hit the ground it will be a foul ball, but what if the defender is standing on the foul ball side of the line and tries to catch the ball and it hits his glove and lands on the fair ball line side? Is this a fair ball? I am assuming that it is fair.
thanks

Discussion: First Base glove

Hi all,
I was watching a game and noticed that the pitcher was using a First Base Glove, the one that looks like a catchers glove. I thought only first base or catcher could use this glove. Did they change the rules so that now any position can use this glove.
