July 8, 2022 Panther | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Northeast Championships Parking Cost I was there today. Players did not have to pay. Unless something changes after today, that is the policy. Yes, the park is under new operational management this year. I play there on Monday and Wednesday. Please do not confuse "new" with "better". |

Dec. 31, 2018 Panther | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Prostate Cancer chico senior, I had robotic surgery Sept. 2014. I kept to my workout routine prior to surgery and stopped 1 week before. I was in really good shape. After surgery and removal of catheter, I did a LOT, I mean a LOT of walking every day. I drove to florida in Jan 2015 and played in half century in Feb 2015. everyone recovers at a different rate. I was anxious to get back playing. In hindsight, I probably should have waited longer to play. The good news is that I feel great now and play as much as I want and my 6 month check-ups have been perfect. STAY POSITIVE. Talk to your surgeon about everything. You will be back on field in no time. Wishing you well. |
June 14, 2018 Panther | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: TOC TOURNAMENT AND SPRING NATIONALS ETC HELD IN AUBURNDALE POKE COUNTY FLORIDA The Auburndale softball complex is not the same as Loyce Harp/Carter Road. They are two different complexes. The Auburndale complex does have soccer fields in the back. There is also a race car track on the right on the road into the complex. "Carter Road" is closer to Lakeland. Have not played at either in several years, but I always preferred Auburndale of these two. The best in that area is Diamondplex. |

Sept. 30, 2017 Panther | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 60/65 Major World results Harry, you guys had a really good tournament. Winning the National game and finishing 4th overall in 65-AAA is pretty darn good. Congrats to you and the rest of the Force. Is NVF fielding a 70s team? If so, I may see you Ft. Myers. I plan on playing with our 70 AAA team for 2018. Shoulder is coming along. Batting is as good as it was before ( not saying much there ). Throwing is not where I want it but improving. Hope to see you in Ft. Myers. Paul #13 |

July 14, 2017 Panther | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: NORTHEAST CHAMPIONSHIPS SESSION 2 RESULTS Chuck, thanks for the response. I understand the shortage issue, but in a TOC qualifier tourney there should be 2 umpires for the bracket games. You did a great job with the tournament and we were fortunate with the weather during both sessions. |
