I am from Upstate NY and am also looking for a team. Played past 2 years and team folded this year. My cell number is 585-760-4706. Tim McElroy can vouch for me.

Not much interest in the Northeast huh? Maybe spring time will open some doors.

Staub21 - I'm looking to join a team not start one but thanks. Just got done running a team - successfully for 2 years - but it all fell apart this year. Just looking to play.

Teammate of mine, from the team that folded, who pitches is also looking for a team. He will be 49 like myself. If we could find a team that would welcome both of us that would be great. We travel together and it makes it easier that way. Just throwing that out there. Thanks.

My preference is RF but will play where a team needs me. I'm good with catching and DH too. Just want to play.

I turn 49 in March 2019. So I still need to play 40s this upcoming season. Sorry BK28 looks like I wont be able to help.

Major Team that I was on folded and looking to play. Played in 2 Worlds in Vegas and one TOC. Normally hit #5 in lineup but willing to do what the team wants. Ran the team that folded and am just looking to play.

Most of the players on the team are at the late end of 40. Driving for an exhibition does not make sense, I just wonder how ISSA can do it and SSUSA can't. I just thought the idea was to get more teams involved not eliminated.

Why should the teams playing have a say anyways, they still need to win their games against their age and level while the 40 team has to beat them all. Isn't the idea to get teams to go to this. A 50 team will get a bid either way and an 40 team has a chance. This whole policy of "asking" the teams if it is okay is wrong. Unreal and very disappointing.

Thanks SS13 - we are one of the victims of the SSUSA rule as we have to travel 5 to 6 hours to play. Had to eat the 535 for Loudon because spending an extra grand on hotels and food for a one day tournament was unrealistic. So we actually saved money. But it is their rule and if we want to play softball we have to take that chance. When the tourney is held in Syracuse in July we have be the close team and others will have to make the decision if it rains. Hopefully it wont.
