| April 23, 2026 Playa7 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bat tape I am not a structural engineer nor am I a physicist so exactly how would adding extra tape make a bat perform better? If you say it's altering a bat, that to me seems like arguing over who's the tallest midget in the circus. What exactly would one get by adding tape to a bat except making the bat easier to hold and swing. |
| May 27, 2025 Playa7 | Topic: Bats Discussion: Senior Bats Here is a good breakdown: Rawlings products- hot out of the wrapper usually in minimal swings, real good carry until you get about 300ish swings then it starts losing pop and you get knuckleballs. Durability is average Onyx- Amazing products that take about 50 swings to break in, has extra carry even when you mishit balls and durability is above average- usually around 500-700 swings Suncoast- Hot out of the wrapper usually, lively barrels, very good durability, when compression starts getting lower it still has exit velocity but distance starts shortening up. SP- has durability issues across the board but is a quality product Anonymous bats- very good bats, has really good durability and it a top notch company Axe- not worth the money and not a top notch bat Anarchy- mix of some decent models and some bad ones, the good bats have durability issues, compression drops fast |

| Jan. 11, 2025 Playa7 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Looking For An Answer to Why 44/375 Here is a fact, millions of innings per year are played in senior ball and you how many people get hurt by the ball? The answer is very very few. Do some people get hirt by the ball, sure there are some. However considering how very few compared to the amount of guys playing the game it is insignificant. What is true how many more guys get hurt running the bases or playing the field. Bottom line is if you're afraid of the ball then don't play or take up another hobby. |
