Discussion: Comparison between Senior Ultra II (msu2) and Senior Suncoast Melee 3 One-piece balanced?

Pretty simple, if your playing our team and come up with an ultra 2 bat were moving in on you. If your swinging the Melee 3, we're not. Ultra 2 was great for it's day, now it's below average, that simple.

Sorry SSUSA, the answer is go play the other associations-they don't have the same roster restrictions and you can play with other teams much easier.

Discussion: 2021 DUDLEY DOOM DAN SMITH MAX POWER LOAD SSUSA SENIOR SLOWPITCH SOFTBALL BAT: DSSR2M

The story as I understand is the engineer who designed the original Dudley's and now is with Suncoast has a patent on the technology. Where he goes is where the technology will go into making those great performing bats. His agreement and licensing of the technology allows the bat company to make the great bats so when he left Dudley he took away their ability to keep making their OG bats. However that may supposedly be ending in another year or so.

It is a total shame what Dudley has become. They switched factories in China where they make their bats and not since the 2.0 have they put out a quality product. They prefer to save money vs making a great bat which they used to make. Since the lift's their bats are complete garbage. If they made their original bats or second generation they would own the market again however their stubbornness prevents that from happening. They are a shell of what they once were

Discussion: oes anyone use the Easton Rival or Demarini Uprising aluminum alloy bats?

First suggestion is to join another league unless you're a fan of going 1-4 with a cheapie hit single on a regular basis. At 65 yrs old you guys aren't Brooks Robinson, Willie Mays and Roberto Clemente. Why would a league allow basically painted lamp posts only as bats?

Otherwise get a Titanium bat as that is a legit great bat and close enough to a senior bat

Have you thought about getting a time machine to bring you back to the 70's to get them? Sorry couldn't resist....

SSUSA policy is not to post teams who are playing in tournaments because too many teams would wet their pants when they would see was entered and then either back out or not sign up. So now the policy is to post the bracket 30 seconds before the tournament starts so no one bails.....

Not for nothing, but getting your medical advise from a senior softball forum probably isn't your best idea. Go to the CDC or another reputable medical site is a better thought.

Gonedeep, unless the tournament wasn't a senior tournament then the TD was oblivious. The bats have been out for months and used everywhere. So unless the tournament wasn't a senior tournament, the director must be clueless and needs to do a better job.
