| Oct. 25, 2016 1tuffmuddah16 | Topic: Bats Discussion: knee problems I also have some arthritis and torn meniscus in both knees, can't run as fast as before or jump as high, I just turn 50 years old. i been playing baseball and softball for years,, i have my good days and bad these.. Doctor told me i have 80 years old knees and he dose know why i am still walking or running, He wanted to me to have my knees replace and that it would be a 50/50 chance you would not be to run as much and in about 15 years you come back and replace them again.. All you guys are right on how to get treatment.. My state of mind is that if you listen to your body and don't do to much to strain your body.. It's ok to have a pitch runner,, i rather be on the field playing ball then being on the couch.. as for me, going under the knife will be the last, last option. but until then i will play until i can't no more...keep playing guys,,, FOR THE OF THE GAME!!! |

Just turn 50 last week and i want to play some ball, i live in Watsonville CA. I been playing ball since 18 years of age, I also play Rec league 4 days out the week and play baseball with the 30 and older league on the weekend. I am a pitcher for softball, and 1st and second and once in awhile a pitcher in hardball. I am looking for any teams that are local. Thank you |
