Discussion: Interpretation of the new bat rule

So, I played by your rules in the Tidewater Classic. Game temp was 48 degrees. I did not bring my gamer bats with me. I brought what I thought would be the most durable. AND As I predicted to you in the post, my Dudley OG broke one the first day. I am sure that the bat manufacturers truly appreciate your lack of common sense in this matter. Senior bats are not supposed to be used in temperatures that low! Great job!

Discussion: Interpretation of the new bat rule

I am playing in the tidewater classic this weekend. The forecast temperatures are a low of 42 and a high of 56 degrees.
My question(s) is; Based on the new bat rule, I have to swing a bat that has a ssusa stamp?
Knowing that bats are going to break in these temperatures, I cannot swing a Utrip bat?
Am I correct or not?

I believe you have an error in the 50 major seeding game schedule. You have #43 Trinity Home Renovations listed 4 times (as team 43 and 45) and #45 Walker Brothers not listed.

Has anyone swung this bat yet? How does this bat compare to the 2017 Miken Freak Platinum Balanced?

Discussion: Shoulder surgery

I have had the surgery twice. First one was in 1995, tore the labrum off the bone. Awful surgery and rehab. 6 months in a sling. I was young and dumb (20's) and did not take rehab serious enough. Arm was never the same. Fast forward to 2016, I had a labrum tear repaired and cleaned out the shoulder from spurs and scar tissue. This time I was very serious about my rehab. 6 months after the surgery I started to learn how to throw again. I had to learn because, for years I compensated for the pain, which lead to poor mechanics. My arm is better than it has been in a long time (I still don't have the distance that I had in my youth But who does). Things that I learned.
1) Interview you PT tech. Use one that utilizes a throwing program.
2) Take PT seriously and do not rush the process. You will pay for it by set backs.
3) Ice and stretching are your friend.I purchased an ice therapy pump off ebay which turned out to be the best investment made.
4) Range of motion comes before strength
5) Be patient and listen to the PT tech.
6) The shoulder is the worst joint in your body. It moves in every direction with little support from any other structure.
7) Once you are cleared to start throwing, do not stop working out with your shoulder. Low weights. Remember Range of motion.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any question.

Good Luck.

What a year this has been. When it was not safe to play, they kept money. When we try to play they won't honor the TOC qualifier.

Discussion: Verdict on the Worth Rulli

I bought it last year and used it all season 34/26. I really like this bat. Good pop, durable short break in time. I have not been able to get into the 2 piece bats and the Rulli was well worth the price. Before that, I was swinging the Mayhem in regular league. I have always swung a balanced bat and this bat fit my swing perfectly.
