I have heard several different explanations with no clear answer.

If you have the answer, please share.

Question: What exactly does "Reloaded" mean?

Thanks

Discussion: Is It Altered?

I hear so many things about "Altered Bats".

Is removing the original bat grip and replacing with tape altering?
Some guys put a thicker or double grip on the bat to make it fatter, is that altering?
What about Knob Cuffs? How many Knob Cuffs can be put on a bat?
Is a thick amount of Pine Tar altering?
What about a rubber ring that goes on the knob?
Can weights be added to the grip?

Thanks for any info.

It depends on the price of the bat in your hands!

The ROCK ball has a soft, spongy cover that when hit hard will go out of round shape causing the erratic flight characteristics.

Discussion: A Question For Bogie

Bogie
First, I watch all your videos and have learned from the information you provide. I think you do a great job and I enjoy watching them.

Question:
I just watched your latest video "Observing Practice Swings will Foretell Flaws in Live Swings SM114" just today. What I don't understand is, if Brett is doing all that hop and spinning around thing, how does he have time to run to first base on a base hit? Does he hop and spin (as seen in the video) like that in a real game? I can't remember seeing anybody hop and spin like that before getting out of the batter's box in game.

OK....Good Reply Post

The thing that bugs me the most was all that down time between games. I don't gamble and have been to so many of these tourneys in the past it just gets boring. I have seen all the places for tourists/visitors to see for a few hundred miles around Laughlin/Bullhead area. It got so boring that my wife and I went to the Bullhead Walmart and Buffalo Wild Wings just for something to do. It was too windy to do anything outside. No doubt all that down time is so the local business can make MONEY.

This is SENIOR SOFTBALL!

It don't take a Rocket Scientist to figure out that Seniors don't have the same Bowel and Bladder Control as they did in their younger days. Evidently, they don't know this in Bullhead!

I noticed men, waiting 3 deep to use the urinals and about 4 or 5 guys in line waiting to use that one (1) toilet. They are lucky that toilet didn't back up!

Games get delayed because of this. That's how it effects a tournament.

Also, probably because of the wind or maybe just poor umpires, "Strikes" being called on pitches that were flat.

I forgot to mention....

22 hours of down time between games 2 & 3....

27 yes...

27 hours of down time between games 4 & 5...

Way too much down time..

This whole tourney can be played in 2 days!

ONE(1) Men's Crapper to serve 4 fields of teams, fans and others!

Too cheap to rent Port-A-Potties.

We were scheduled 0830 games on 1st and 2nd days and played very last games on the 3rd day.

Well run?

I don't think so!

I welcome you to come to Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas to test out your claims about hitters abilities. We have Major+ and some Hall of Famers to prove or disprove. We can even see what percentage of times they can hit a pitching net intentionally.

I agree with you 100%

A few years ago several experienced hitters and I tried to hit the ball back at the pitcher pitching from behind a pitching screen as an experiment. The screen was about 3 feet wide and 6 feet tall placed on the pitching rubber. We only counted balls that hit the screen on a line drive. To our suprise only about 50% of the balls hit the screen. Most line drives either over or to the sides of the screen and some hit the ground before hitting the screen. It's not that easy to hit a pitcher on purpose. The chances of hitting a pitcher intentionally is roughly a 50-50. If anybody has good enough bat control to hit a pitcher at will, should be able to place hit .900 or more!

When the "Heated" bat was delivered to you, did it have the original wrapper on it?

If so, how could the bat remain in it's original wrapper and the wrapper not melt or show signs of being heating?
