Should be in the SSUSA HOF one day, no doubt. To embarrass someone and take their bat in a tournament is down right awful. Then to find it to be legal and just say sorry Jose, here is your bat back just isn't enough. I recommend that if a team calls out a bat on the opposition and that bat is found to be legal then the team that had it confiscated should be forced to by that player a new bat of his choice. Let's do the right thing here. One step further, don't take the bat during a game, just mark the bat and take it after the game. Innocent players don't deserve to be embarrassed like this. |
