| Aug. 17, 2017 Pitcherwpop | Topic: Bats Discussion: Jose Moreno's Bat challenge One of the nicest guys in SSUSA, not to mention one of the best players to ever lace them up. Should be in the SSUSA HOF one day, no doubt. To embarrass someone and take their bat in a tournament is down right awful. Then to find it to be legal and just say sorry Jose, here is your bat back just isn't enough. I recommend that if a team calls out a bat on the opposition and that bat is found to be legal then the team that had it confiscated should be forced to by that player a new bat of his choice. Let's do the right thing here. One step further, don't take the bat during a game, just mark the bat and take it after the game. Innocent players don't deserve to be embarrassed like this. |
