Discussion: LVSSA Tournament last weekend

Larry: Tols is moving up to 65 in Phoenix. Playing with FL. Legends. Come on down to Naples, our home town, & play Winter Nationals vs. FL Raptors. Remember the 325 fences? Best hotel is Hampton Inn. Hope to see you there.

Discussion: LVSSA Tournament last weekend

LVSSA ran the event better than the last 2 years. 60 major+ had 4 competitive teams . No problems worth discussion. Finally, someone used good balls. No excuses if you didn't hit it out. The very BEST looking trophy we've ever won. To all the great sports on MTC, Old As & GSF... thanks for the memories, men.

Discussion: Ralph Godwin

Ralph Godwin is on our roster. He will play for the Miken Raptors of Florida 60 major+ in some tournaments in 2008. He still hits a long ball and is a pleasure to have on our team. His number in Glen Allen, VA, is 804-402-6588.

TOC Update for 60 major+
Spicer Prop. came out of the losers bracket into the Championship game & beat the Florida Raptors (Team FL in 2006) 30-25. In the tight "IF" game FL lead by 4 in the open inning & held off Spicer to win the Championship. Dave Reed got the MVP bat. A great pair of games & we were the last to leave at 6pm. Hats off for a well-run tournament!!

Totally agree. Many on our 60s team work & can't do mid week. No chance for our team to attend.

Discussion: Legal bats

How can we improve communication about bats to use in tournaments ? Can't believe in one game Miken was OK, next game banned. Local tournament directors need to let players know about bats before we arrive .
