Just returned from my 68th. birthday vacation and read everybody's replys to my requests of Einstein (yes or no, etc,etc) it looks like nobody wants to know why he can't say yes or no. I have not played ball in 30 years and based on some of the talk I'm glad I have not, and so are you. I wanted to sponsor a team based on the rules (proposed and maybe) changes as follows. Platooning- 1. Infielders to play defense but not bat. 2. Add 12 additional players to bat but not play defence. They do not have to run because you can use the infielders as runners. 3. Outfielders play defense but not bat, but not used as runners as to save there legs. 4. Pitcher only as pitcher, no running or hitting so to keep his heart rate down so he can pitch. Bats- All bats to be legal so as to avoid the use of altered, etc bats. Fields- 1. All games will be played in parking lots to avoid bad hops etc. 2. Pitchers to pitch from anywhere he wants. Start with 3 and 2 count. Bases to be set at 100 feet so the infielders can see the ball better of the all legal bats. 5. Play with no fences so the outfieldes can play deep for the new bats. Balls - Bring you own. Fees- To be payed by the citys. Thank you all for your time and this could be my last reply from 60 Bill Bill Sixtty N.Y. |
