SSUSA, Could you please verify the entry fee and the deadline for this one. You have $325 for entry fee and deadline is Dec 31st, 1969. I wish I could go back in time.

Player, I agree with you and would add this, I have seen crs put in at third base with less then 2 outs to score on a sac fly or an infield ball. As someone else said, the runner if need be, should be replaced before the next pitch to the next batter. That would speed game up and maybe some teams would not be able to abuse it as much.

SSUSA,
When will the scores and all results be posted for the Fort Myers tournament?

It would be so much easier for everyone if they just made the season Jan.1st to Dec.31st. Easier to remember cards, you think.

E4/E6,
I am guessing that the majority of players in the lower divisions want to just play the game. I know our team does. Our guys do not need homeruns to have fun. I am under witness protection so I can not tell you my name:)

They have already started. Just look for 2010 after your age division and bracket. They will be easier to spot this year.

It would help if you mention age bracket and what division, AA, AAA etc.

Discussion: How would YOU rate teams

SSUSA, you should put those explanations under your priority messages and leave them there all year. As stever said, this will come up again and again at rating time. I now understand the ratings a little better now.

Discussion: Teams Being Bumped Up

We were AA team up till 2 years ago, got bumped up to AAA after 1st T of year, did not win it. We did win 1 T each year, both 2 team Ts. We accepted it because of more teams in the division. Problem I have is AA teams have beaten us over those couple years and won Ts and no move up for them. Go figure.

Discussion: How to expand TOC participation

Maybe we are missing something. If they supposedly have a highly restrictive policy towards rosters for the TOC, then why are teams allowed to add players from a different division. They should play with what got them to the dance. Teams that get rerated up before June get to play down for this one is not right either. Not fair to the other teams. They play all year at the new rating and then play down and beat teams at their correct rating. None of this makes sense. Oh well I guess.

Discussion: TOC

With the problems with the weather situation, it is just another reason of many to have this T at the end of season, Oct ,Nov whatever. This will happen again. Maybe this was a fluke or something but, only God knows for sure. Maybe he is telling SSUSA something. They won't listen anyway.

Discussion: Is It Just me?

JLD, This has been brought up before. They should be flipflopped. Maybe they have a contrct that needs to run out before they can change the dates. Our team in the Midwest going there but most of us have not played for 5 months, so we will probably get beat up on. Couple dome practices coming up but we are not good enough to just show up and play.

Discussion: midwest nationals

He could be saying that because of the economy is so bad and being an 8 hour drive does not help either. I am sure a couple teams would go. Teams to the north and east probably could add 2 to 4 hours in drive time but would go also. Don't think I could sit in a vehicle that long. Going down would maybe be ok, but that long drive back if you lose would be a bear.

#45,
Field assignments could come earlier, but probably not till after the holidays when they have a better idea of how many teams in each division. That is my guess.

Discussion: split the country

Maybe SSUSA can use the Mississippi as a divider. The East side only plays East and West stays to the West. They can have their rules and the East can have theirs. They have Phoenix and the East can make the TOC its big tournament, just change the name. I'm not sure but I would have to say the West teams really don't come East anyway but I do know East goes West more often. You will probably have a field day with this but I for one am tired about reading about the stupid bat/ball discussions. I'm just aaa player so I don't know nuttin.:>)

Fred,I agree with you all the way. Have not done it in senior ball, only 16" here in the midwest, different game but same results if you know how to play the middle.

If most associations went to this 52/275 ball, Would everyone take up bocci ball or badminton or would we still continue to play with the bats we have now and enjoy the game we have played for so long?
