Well not sure about that not our call, but from my vantage point based on the closeness of the games in the last 3 big tournaments we have played in, there is parity like never before. So either everyone deserves to be in the next level or perhaps Senior Softball officials have done an amazing job in rating the teams

Congrats to the Desperados for winning the 55 AAA - unbelievable team, but even better guys - you are the class of Senior Softball and really epitomize what we all want to get out of the game. You play hard, hit like crazy, field well, celebrate strong, but play with respect and have a blast. We love playing you guys - see you in Reno - John Huffman R&R

Hey Webbie, I play for R& R (first base #17)you guys were awesome this weekend. Even though we had to play you four times you were clearly the best team this weekend and deserved to win it. I was very impressed. Classy group of players and fans, well deserved. Hope for a rematch with you in Phoenix, but I think I am going to give #75 your first baseman a one way ticket to Hawaii during the worlds. :)

Discussion: Any unbelievable, spectacular, unusual or funny plays or calls to share?

Two years ago in the worlds in Seattle our best hitter Rick grounds out to start the inning (one out), Next guy gets on with a single and Rick runs for him and is forced at second (two outs), one hitter later with runners on first and second he decides to run again - which is of course illegal, steps on first - umpire calls him out (three outs) - thus with only four batters up in one inning one guy (Rick) made 3 outs in one inning - very hard to do

Discussion: let more teams in t.o.c.

They should invite back the defending TOC champions from the year or years before with no roster modifications - those teams are one year older so the competitive edge is addressed

Does anyone here know who won the AA and AAA divisions in Phoenix for the 50 and 55's?

Discussion: Fix the TOC

I think the previous years winners coming (with only the exact same team) is a brilliant idea - and makes complete sense - not sure complete sense enters into thinking on this - and for anyone that would argue about it at least the teams would be one year older and slower

Discussion: Glove Repair by Sugarshane

I just received a glove that I had sent last week to sugarshane at fielderschoice glove repair - he did a spectacular job, got it back when he said he would and the cost was far less than I would have paid at some sporting goods store - I highly recommend him and his service

Thanks to the Utah Vets for a memorable 3 games, I thought you had us for sure. You guys are class acts, as were all the teams. It was as much fun as I have ever had. John Huffman 1st Base R & R Pumping
