Discussion: Sand bagging in round robin

Having played the Blackhawks this year I can tell you this team does not sandbag. They play hard but they are honest and fair.We have played them at least 10 times this year.If you talked to them you will see they are a good group of guys. The manager of this team would not allow them to do that. They are just a team that never gives up.I wasn't at that tourney so i don't know how things happened. But one thing I am certain of is that the Blackhawks are not sandbaggers

I found out from a reliable source that the team that won the 55AA in las Vegas was a MAJOR PLUS TEAM.I also know from talking to another player they laid 17 homers on a very good California AA team When we played the they kicked our butts good. They put about 8 out on us

Did anyone see the championship game in the 55AA in Seatle? It was injurys and errors that caused the outcome and not the supermen that everyone thought this team had. In the semi-final game, second place team was ahead big. Then a pop up behind the pitcher is missed and then 2 balls to the outfield were misplayed and the1st place team wins. In the championship game 2nd place team's 2nd baseman get injured. THE LADY MGR takes his place and bats for the injured 2nd baseman. In the last inning the game was tied, and the 2nd place team scored the go ahead run and there was an appeal and the ump called the runner out for not touching 3rd base. Then the first place team scores winning run in the bottom of the inning. As for these supposed supermen, they are lucky if they batted .400. Of the top three teams, the 3rd place team had the power hitters but had spotty defense. The 2nd place team was cruising throught the tournament until the last 2 games. I guess it is easier to bash a team then to give them credit! I know, I watched the whole tourney!
