Two years ago I sustained a mild to medium Hammy pull on the 1st day of a 3 day tourny ..I bought a thigh wrap and wrapped the area fairly tight..hoping to limit the hammy from over extending...Well by the second game of 2nd day...I barely could walk...It seems by wpapping it too tight it actually pulled the hammy inward and didn't allow for normal stretching and movement and caused twice the tear I originally had, and added 6 more weeks to the healing process. For me.... I now just Ice it for 36 hours taking anti-imflammatory and try walking as soon as possible ( not running for 2 weeks ) without any wrap at all...seems to work for me....good health to all.

Hi Paul0 (Bay State), just wanted to say congrats to you and all my buddies on The Bombers...Great win, especially against so many highly competative teams that comprised the bracket. I also want to welcome you in joining us on the Perpetual Trophy, truley an outstanding feat. A bit sad that you'll be leaving our division, but I'm sure your team will be sucessful there as well.
Also want to toss out a Big hello to Webbie25, always a pleasure to chat with you and your talented Desperado's...(.p.s I think I'm still Sunblind from field #3 on Sat afternoon...lol) We had a blast playing the Titans, Drillers and O.D.B.. all 3 were extremly talented and classy teams...Ground Crew did a SUPER JOB on all the fields, and kudo's to all the Directors on coriographing such a well run tourny without any snags. Good Luck to all...Richie B....Mgr. N.Y Motion.

Guy's the team is rated 65 AAA He really left out the most important piece of info.....age group.....but what counts is its great to hear about another new team forming ... especially at the veteran age of 65....I really believe that being able to still play the the game we LOVED 50 years ago is a BLESSING in itself.....probably one of the contributing factors as to why we are still around today.....God Bless this game and while I'm on the subject ... GOD BLESS AMERICA too .. after all ......it is 9 / 11 today... Looking foward to seeing you all soon..... R.B

Just wondering...did the Sigillo Cellars/JCI Chemical team change their team name this year from Spot Grille and Tavern ... because Spot Tavern no longer exists under 55 AAA teams and Sigillo Cellars does... both came from the same area in WA. They were all a great bunch of guys, and and an excellant team as well....(1st place in PHX. 55AAA 2010) continued good luck fellas...just wanted to say hi...

The correct order of finish in 55 AAA Was Spot Tavern 1st., N.Y Motion 2nd and R&R 3rd, ARO Glass 4th in a very tough and competitive division...also thanks to SSUSA and Mountain Vista Directors for a well run tournament again, and the fantastic job done by the ground crew, fields were in top shape before every game.

Discussion: explain the various skill levels...

Bruce, what makes you think that by being on a major plus team as opposed to a AA team makes the competiivness any less, it doesn't, players are just as competitive and determined to win in both divisions, thats why we play tournament ball....but the differance is that the major plus team is stocked with home hitters who go yard more often...you might want to to rephrase the word competitiveness... thanks Richie
