Discussion: Fuse or not to Fuse

I have had 5 shoulder reconstructions starting from 01,03,18,19.20 ...I have hardware that is not metal. I play the OF and game prep is Salonpas Lidocaine Plus (over counter).. This cream always takes the edge off and lasts the entire game. I also use it on my knees and it def helps.
I wouldn't fuse especially being as active as you are...
Hope you find relief...

Discussion: Intentional Walk

Q: Does the batter receiving an intentional walk need to officially enter the batters box and then receive the intentional walk?
Or can the opposing team knowing they will intentionally walk the next batter, simply wave the batter to first base from the dugout or batters on deck circle?

Discussion: 55 Major or AAA

Looking to play 55 Major or AAA, I live in Charleston SC. I played 50 Major with Monarch/Miken GA, (Eurksine, Manager). I have recovered very well from a couple of shoulder operations back 2 back. I was an OF/P for ever, I now play 1st,P and C.
My bat is still very strong, I can hit for power and keep it in the park when needed. The OF is not out of the question, however I did lose some distance on throwing.. I'm a great teammate and enjoy the camaraderie of Senior softball.

I just finished with League play in the Low Country and it was a very successful season for me, both in the field and at the plate.

Discussion: Rotator Cuff Surgery

Gary,

I have had 5 major reconstructions of my shoulders, two on the left and three on the right. Recently as of March 5th 2020 on my throwing arm, I have a tremendous surgeon in Doctor Demarco Mt Pleasant SC. I was playing 50+ Major for Atlanta Monarchs/Miken (Eurskine Manager). I Can tell you with absolute certainty My throwing is completely gone and I will never be better than 40% with my right arm and never better than 50% with my left arm.
The good to getting back to playing at any level is I can still hit very well and I can throw underhand very well. I also though about transitioning to play as a lefty but didn't make the move to switch. I will begin to play league ball for the fall league in August and our higher level of play and can only play Pitcher, Catcher or DH....

I wish you a great recovery!!!!
