Lecak I would say that the Midwest Championships would be a possible venue for us to attend, especially if there is a Good turn-out. Keep me updated, if possible. I will present it to our team. Thank you!

Frederick Chevrolet/E&E Metal Fab We are also a new
50+ Major Plus team. We have not decided yet on a
Tournament Schedule for 2009 other then the Phoenix Tournament in October. We are planning on attending
Phoenix at this point. We are an East Coast team so we
won't get out your way other than Phoenix.

We will be playing at the TOC next month in the Major Division.

We do receive some Sponsor $$ but most of the time
we pay for everything.

Hope you have a great season in 2009.

Hey Rooster10 What color is the bat that you speak of? Blue, Red, Green? I found a blue one on ebay but it does not say that it is a 73V, however it does say Voltage.
Found some red & green ones also. thanks in advance.

I use the Easton Synergy The blue version of that bat & the red/black Brett Helmer version also, they seem to work well for me, but they are not end loaded.

Hey Bagbey's! Glad to see you guys are going again!

We played you last year at the TOC. You have a nice

squad. It would be great to play you guys again,

(we had a very competitive game) but they

moved us to Major. Good Luck down there!

Damon's won the 50+ Major Plus Division

They beat us 23-22 & 54-14

Any chance that Damon's could be moved to a

Higher Class? They are as good as it gets!

We had them 22-10 in the first contest Then they

woke up in the bottom of the 4th. The first guy made

an out and after that the Hit parade started! 13 runs

later we were walking off the field.

Nice Tournament though.

Coachron

The original Ultra II Bats are better than the Ultra's made

today. The original's last longer and have more "Pop",

at least this is what I have always heard. The original's

will have an ASA Stamp on them. I'd say get them out

of the closet and use them, you won't find a hotter Bat

anywhere! If you would happen to have a 26 Oz. that you

would want to sell, i'd be a buyer!

Hi Lecak Thanks for your comments I thank you for thinking
of Steve & his family. Much appreciated.

As for the Major + Division etc. I may be jumping the
gun too soon. Our Team is usually a group thing when it
comes to making decisions. Maybe we will continue to
play, personally I'm always up for a challenge. Time
will tell. Thanks Again though! Rick

Discussion: Winter Nationals

Hey Guys! I appreciate the discussion on this topic.

Yes my team was moved to Major+ and I believe it
is because we won ASA National's in the Major Division.

I just wanted to ask Dave questions about the Major +
level.

I am not complaining, however we are not a Major+ team.
We will go to Ft Myers and compete and I hope the guys make me Eat My Words.

For the most part though Ft. Myers will be our last Tournament as a Team. At least that's what I'm thinking
now. As stated in this post there are no East Coast
Major+ Teams to play except maybe Damon's. And
let me tell you I have seen Damon's play, what a Nice
team. Can we compete with Damon's, sure, can we beat
them maybe, but we do not have the Power they have.

Anyway it's been fun All good things must end. There
could be alot of Good Players available for teams to pick
up and NO the TOC is now OUT! We won't be there.

That's just the way it goes, there's more to life than
Senior Softball anyway.

Also on a Sad Note one of our players was tragically
killed in a MotorCycle Accident on Saturday. Steve
Orsinger was a Good Guy, as nice as they come.
My prayers go out to his wife & children.
