If you purchased your Rip-It Elite Senior from www.fastpitchsales.com and you would like to purchase a Black Rip-It Senior ASA as well, you can purchase it for $250 if you call them and they have your original purchase on file.

Thank you

Discussion: Bat banning ?

Hi Everyone,

First, to help clear up some confusion about the ASA bat banning in general. In 2004, ASA switched from a 100mph testing standard to 98mph. At the same time, ASA switched to a new stamp for the 98mph standard, but also grandfathered in bats that had the old 100mph ASA approved stamp on them.

It is these older 100mph bats with the old ASA stamps that are being banned on January 2008, and they are not being "banned" inasmuch as they are simply losing their grandfathered status.

The Rip-It Senior ASA has been fully tested and approved by ASA, meets all requirements set by ASA, and has the 2004 ASA stamp on it. You should be 100% confident that the Rip-It Senior ASA is fully approved and will not be banned by ASA.

As a matter of fact, we guarantee that the Rip-It Senior ASA will not be banned by ASA. If the Rip-It Senior ASA bat is banned, we will offer a full refund to all customers who have purchased the bat. This refund will be available for all bats, new or used.

Thank you, and Happy Holidays.

Again, we apologize for the confusion.

We were under the impression that we were approved for SSUSA play. This was confirmed when our bat was added to the Bat Policy. We assumed that being added to the bat poilcy made our approval final.

Had we known additional testing was going to be required of us, we would have waited to announce our approval.

Although we recommend waiting a week for an update on our approval status, anyone who purchased a bat from us thinknig it was approved can receive a full refund by calling us at 305-271-0864.

If anyone has any other questions, please call me at the same number listed above. I would be more than happy to address any of your concerns.

Thank you.

Hi,

This is Matt from Rip-It Softball. We apologize in advance for the confusion that was made by having our bat listed as approved under the Senior Softball-USA Bat Policy.

Senior Softball has asked us to do some additional testing on our bats prior to having it approved for SSUSA play. Of course, we are complying with their request and having additional testing done. We hope to have the data they are requesting in the near future.

Thank you.
