Discussion: I see the problem

According to Dirty, Senior bats are a problem. If we didn't have 14" gloves, the hot bat wouldn't be necessry. This problem is being approached from the wrong angle.

Dirty: you seem to think you are the only one that thinks clearly on this site. If only you could see your comments thru our eyes. They turn into rehashed pointless drivel. You do have the freedom to bait everybody with your pointless drivel. I know ya catch a lot of fish. But, it does get old.

I have to add: I use an Ultra and an ASA bat ,depends on the rule. I prefer the ASA, also because of the defense. It is a lot more fun and a better workout. I can hit em out with the ASA but not as often.

We both know safety IS the issue. That doesn't mean we can't accommodate change. There many Senior Tourneys and leagues that outlaw the Ultra ll. I would advise you go to those. Since there are choices, I don't see your point.

6 and 8 still kind of similar too. Maybe coach wasn't as smart as you thought. I wish you guys could slow down this board. I'm just getting my book deal nailed down and right away I have more comedy material. I want to keep this book under 500 pages of comedy. Hard to do with this group!!!

TNG--isn't it interesting that the guy that stumped for your freedom of speech is now the bad guy?

Wood-Misunderstanding is right. That last post of mine was a general comment, not directed at any one particular person. I can't understand why so many take offense at everything. Confrontational for what end? I pretty much agree with your posts. You at least think before you write. I still think this is all funnier than Comedy Central. If this were a book we were reading, none of us would be able to stop laughing.

Sad thing about all this posturing, is that, it seems to be more about control of the board than it is about softball. I have not made malicious comments toward others and have advocated free speech. Yet, I get called out, called names and bullied. Advocating free speech, in my opinion, is not taking sides. Although to some, I guess it seems so.

Wood--of course I play Senior softball(major). a person wouldn't find all this so hilarious if you didn't play. Do you have to play softball to comment on this board. Maybe some players just ready to turn 50 have an interest and have questions. Maybe I should say, did have an interest. The hot heads on this board don't make things easy. But, again, they have a right to their opinion. I don't have to like it.

I don't always agree with your exception to every rule posts, but I fought for your right to say it. As a mater of fact, I bet we could get together and laugh like hell.

Obviously we agree with the FIRST AMENDMENT. Something they know nothing about. Where ever they are from, bullying and beatings work better. Intelligent posts stump them.
