Hey Stoneman, this stuff is nothing to get all bent out of shape about. You think everybody should be banned but you. Be a pretty lonely web site, but then again, you would always be right. You keep forgetting this is America. Always keep that in mind. As Samual Johnson said"He is not only dull himself, he is the cause of dullness in others".

It will all be clearer in a few years. contact the people at SSUSA directly. Nobody on this board seemss to have the correct answers. I'm unsure if even their answers will fill your need.

TNG-Your trying to get rules decisions from players. Contact the guys that made the rules and they can explain it, along with stats you may find worthy. Go to the source if the answers you get here only agitate you.

My BAD! wow, was I confused. I thought this was a comedy site. You guys are trying to tell me this is going to turn into a run of the mill blah, blah, blah site. Kiss me if I'm wrong, but I seem to see some issues already being resolved.

Ever had a broken bone as a senior TNG? The healing is a wee bit slower than for the 22 year olds you keep talking about. Common sense says senior have brittle bones and a much slower recovery time. Why not have rules that allow for more playing and less recovering. When your laid up someday, you'll be thinkin, "there ought to be a rule!" By the way, if a tree falls in the forest when no one is around, does it make any noise?

if you watch enough of the older senior teams, you'll have your explaination. The games could last forever.

no one is arguing the fact hot bats could be trouble pitchers. You say you have never whined about pitcher safety and bats. Read your posts, what do you call it.

unfortunately TNG, AlleninGA is right. I always defend your right to say whatever, even if I disagree and I often do. Your have now changed your post from safety and bats, to bad tournaments. Lets get back to the subject. My take is that no one wants to see the pitcher hurt, but still wants to hit the ball a mile. The same person can easily support that concept. I know you always quote the exception to the rule and complain about all new rules. I truly feel you understand the reason for the rules(and there are good reasons) yet still complain. If the guys on this board can't explain the purpose of the rules to your satisfaction, you need to confer with those that make the rules so you can get a better understanding of why the rule exists.
