Many teams come from areas that the talent is sparse. The 5 run limit gives the weak team at least a time to bat before it hits 50-0 in the first inning. At least they get to bat a couple of times. This rule applies in leagues also. Maybe in Tournaments with Major Plus teams they should change that rule. do ya get the picture? |

Why do you think posting a schedule would be like showing your cards? If teams want to go to a tournament with a lot of teams they can check the web site and enter. You seem to think teams want to keep it a secret. |

Tournament teams need to get together and have a tournament web site. they post their schedule and everyone can go to the tournaments that show the most scheduled teams. The way it is now, there is so much money to be made off senior softball, that associations are popping up all over and splintering the teams. The senior teams can accomplish this with a little effort. |

When you find a site with some of these characters already in the nest, even worse. The only thing I could look forward to would be someone cruising my neighborhood and harassing my family. You can bully everyone else if you want , but not me. Anything you have to say to me you can say it here, My only addition to this post has been as an advocate of free speech. The laws are behind me on that cause. I don't see laws protecting bullys. |

TNG-you also need to remember we are no longer "younger" and modifications like no sliding in to home plate and 5 run innings and a few other such rules take that into account for seniors. I watched some 80 years olds play and if these rules would not be in place, they would be home in a recliner. |
