Hey curty-- did you ever stop to think maybe this is why not many teams play In the TOC?
Feb. 10, 2015
Played in the TOC last week and was totally dissatisfied with the way it was run in the 60 platinum division.
There was only 1 60 major+ entered and 3 Major teams.
In the 65 teams there was only 1 Major+ team entered. Those 2 teams are guaranteed rings. Why didn't they play round robin games then play each other the best two out of three?
We were the 2nd highest finishing 60 Major team yet we were told that we finished 3rd, thanks for coming. They told us Saturday afternoon around 4-5 that they were moving games up 1 1/2 hrs. Sunday morning. We were given no reason why, just told to be there to play at 8am. They should tell people that they may have to play teams out of there bracket before they take the money.
People spend a lot money to do this, all we ask is to be informed.
The deadline for this tourney was 1-5-15,I called on the 9th to see how many teams there were in our bracket. I was told they didn't know they were still calling people. Why have a deadline???
Won't be back.

Very sorry to hear about Jim. Played against the Classics for many years. A tough team and class outfit. R.I.P. Jim,

I have an established team in Indy. Last year we played in 13 tourneys. Won 10, 2nd twice, and 3rd once. 3 different National Titles. I have had teams for 14 years. Won 8 National Titles.

Discussion: Maybe try this before adding a pitcher screen????

If you raise the height limit, guys will sit on that pitch and shoot it right back where it came from. Make a face mask and shin guards mandatory.

Our team, Indiana Legends/Campbell Tire 60AAA won and we were given free watches and t-shirts, with the option of buying rings.
That's a pretty good package as far i am concerned.

Does anyone have a clue as to which diamonds the 60+AAA will play.
I don't want to get rooms in Lansing, and play in Potterville.

Discussion: They Can't Do That?

I play with and against the guys from the Indy 60s in Leagues. They are a great bunch of guys. They had a chance to win a National taken away because a few teams didn't want to play them.
It's a shame, some players work to get better, some whine.
I feel bad for the Indy 60s.
They got hammered on that call.
