One of our player-coaches Dave Smith left 2 bats, one a Dudley Lightning 27 ounce end load 12 inch barrel had his name on it and 26 ounce end load Reebok Melee. They were left behind the bleachers to the left of the restrooms in the main complex on Saturday after our last game. Please contact me at zeppelin33@sbcglobal.net if you found them. Dave is one of the good guys in senior softball lets help him get his bats back! I'll pay for shipping. Thanks Gary

The Baden Axe senior bat broke in just a few swings because you hit the ball in the same spot. I got a deal on them and broke two in less than a hundred swings.

The Dudley Lightnings are durable and get really hot and if Mario recommends them you know they're good. For more information contact me at zeppelin33@sbcglobal.net.

Discussion: Smokey Mtn Tournament

Have any of you had a game declared a tie score? It was tied in pool play 21 to 21 timed had expired the umpire told us the game was over because time was EXPIRED. The Smokey Mountain wasn't so great. Didn't hurt our seeding because there were only 2 teams in our division 55 Major but it did hurt Reality Check for seeding. What is ironic was that umpire had our Championship game. If it had been me he wouldn't have umpired again in that tournament! What puzzles me is every team in the 55 AAA are rated Major in either SSUSA or SPA. Yes Ho That's the correct ICELADY!

Eddie McCauley lost his battle with cancer today. The best overall player I've ever encountered! Eddie played with Riverside Paving team out of Louisville for many years. Wish I could list all of his accomplishments here. He was inducted into the Kentucky softball Hall of Fame last year. Eddie you are a great man. Enjoy playing for the best team ever assembled. Thanks Gary

Player25 what teams have you played for with the youngsters? There are several 50 and over teams that play in the area. I might be able to hook you up.
