Discussion: Coming to Phoenix in October?

Anyone up for getting a group together after the games for a fun night of dinner theater? Check out "Murder at Savings & Loan Ballpark (S.Lo.B.)" It has an owner by the name of Col. Angelo and a star pitcher called the Big Eunuch. It's playing on Thursday evenings in Old Town Scottsdale and Sunday evenings in Peoria. Let me know if you have a group interested and I can make arrangements for tickets.

Discussion: Seeking The Ultimate Senior Softball Player for new feature film

In 2003 we posted information about a new play about senior softball players and their wives - Buzzard Ball by Alexx Stuart. Now that play is becoming a feature film and the producers are searching for The Ultimate Senior Softball Player to cameo in the film. Details are on the film website, The Scottsdale Tribune just did a feature article on October 31st and Fox 10 covered the story last Thursday, October October 26th. You can read the article at

for a limited time or contact for a copy of the article. This film will be a great treasure for all senior softball players. Visit the website and consider registering your self or a player on your team to be The Ultimate Senior Softball Player in the movie Buzzard Ball. The winner will be selected through internet voting!

Discussion: Chicago Classics looking for 50 players

Sparksleader - is your team the Chicago Buzzards? Or are you just referring to the Chicago Classics players as buzzards? We have a team in AZ called the Buzzards. There is also a funny play about senior softball called Buzzard Ball. Do you know it?

Just saw your message about there not being a team called the Buzzards. Couldn't find what you were referencing, but there are in fact two teams called the Buzzards. One in Chicago and one in Fountain Hills, AZ. There is even a comedy play called Buzzard Ball written by Alexx Stuart that is hysterical that was performed last year in two theatres in the Phoenix area. :)
