paul0784: That is another reason I don't bother with the board anymore. We play the game for the love of the game and the competition.

I love tournament ball and miss it, but we also just love to play the game which seems to be a no no on this board. If you don't play tournament ball you shouldn't bother playing seems to be the general attitude of the members.

Pricer: I probably worded it wrong. I meant is there a list of players and the teams they play with which would be their rating.

We are having trouble with one team in our rec traveling league loading up with players and we are thinking of making a rule that no Major or Major + players can play.

He is so intent on winning and the worst part is we don't even keep standing. We just play the game for fun of it and winning or losing really doesn't mean anything. We just want the teams to be competitive with each other.

As a side not just reading all the responses to a simple question is the one reason I very rarely come on this board anymore.

Is there a way to find out individual ratings or what teams players are on?

Discussion: Ever wonder where or why poster leave or rarely post? I sure do.

The Gary 19 and Steve65 threads above reason #1 why I don't bother anymore.

#2 - This sight is geared to the small elite group of tournament players and not the everyday rec players which is the vast majority of Senior players who could care less about tournament players.

#3 - Agree with Fabe. Too many personnel attacks which have nothing to do with the subject of the thread.

They are also voting on two proposals on moving the bases to 70'. 1 is to move the bases to 70' and the other is to move the bases to 70' except for the Senior div.

Also voting on widening the batters box to 4'. Reason with the Astro Turf fields the batters box doesn't get wiped out and more and more batters are being called out for being out of the batters box.

I am a pitcher looking for a 75+ or 80 team for 2012 season.

I am a pretty good hitter with a little power left. Can play Right Field or Catch.

Ho:
Haven't talked to you in a long time. How are you doing? Missed coming out there this year. That was one of my favorite tournaments and I am looking forward to maybe getting out there next year.

Thanks Gary19. Not on this board much anymore and never thought of that.

Love to play but out of my territory. That is why I like the 75 div more opportunities to play now that I am ready to start playing in tournaments again.

Gary19 hate to disagree but you can't windmill.Windmill is a complete rotation of the arm. As you stated Rule 11.6 D "Pitcher must deliver the ball towards home plate on the first forward motion past the hip underhand.

You can swing your arm back but once you start forward you can't stop.

Depends on Model #. I believe you can go up to 38 oz. Last year I had a player who swung an old 38" bat. Are they heavy!!
