Dirty,
After playing ASA twice a week(ASA bats and balls), I would like to hit something on the weekend tournament that reacts like a BALL.

NO, I do not want a lesser ball. I prefer 44x525, or 47x 525, or something better than what we have. In the summer, these balls are like hitting a melon!!.

Discussion: Ultra ll in Manteca BLD

Sisavic,
Sorry about my mis-spelling your name in the Palm Springs post, but you are RIGHT about Manteca. The Nor Cal web site says the Ultra ll will be allowed in the Manteca BLD tourn on 3-8,9-08.
That's a break through!!!

The ultra ll was not allowed in Manteca BLD last year. I played there twice. The Senior Combat was ok.
The ultra ll was not allowed in Palm Springs (Spring Worlds) last year in the BLD.
I don't know about this year, but I doubt it.

The Huntsman web site shows that all bats with the 1.20 bpf standard will be allowed(U-2 will be allowed). It is no longer a NSA tournament. It is now a NASP tourn(National Association of Softball Players) Their rules will govern play.

DMac. Some of the players in Northern Cal are using a produt called Alpha Flex. It is made in Reno, Nev by Life Science Inc. They have contracted with CVS stores and SaveMart stores to carry the product, but that is a bit in the future. They make a capsule and a 'rub on cream'. If you contac Mel and Geri Pape at megpape@sbcglobal.net, they will sell you some.
If you want their phone #, email me and I will send it to you.
