| Jan. 21, 2008 Njnla | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: BLOWN HAMSTRING REPAIR Hey Gunny, Tore my hamstring at the origin (butt). Went to emergency had an x-ray. Went to my MD, who prescribed a MRI. Went to an Orthopedic Surgeon to discuss the results of the MRI. Yup, a tear „» 2 cm from the bone. He prescribed Physical Therapy. It happened in September and I played my first tournament in December (tentatively), and then played my next on in January, with no ill effects. I will always have to be cautious because a tear does not heal. Scar tissue is what develops and attaches to the bone. Scar tissue is not as strong as the original muscle which is why I will always be susceptible to the same injury. My Physical Therapist focused on agility and flexibility strength building vs weight lifting strength. Now there are certain balls that I just will not be able to get to, but heck that comes with age! Hope this helps, NJ |

I purchased this on eBay as a package along with a 26oz. The 26oz is perfect for me and I never use the 28 oz. The bat is in very good condition, no cracks or dings. Looking for a good home.
