Has any team every been in a SSUSA qualifier and have played a bracket game before you have played all your seeding games. Just asking for in San Marcos, Tx this week that's whats happening and it seems very unusual

swing for the fences he didn't ask what position a player would get tired the most he asked what is the toughest position. I'd have to say the pitcher for any batter, third base for a right handed batter and first base for a left handed batter

I would, the blue dot was a great ball I used to swing a 38 oz bomb bat and it never broke I think thats why they banned all these type bats

Plus JBTexas I don't see why you got bumped up to majors for winning one qualifier maybe if you did as well after Texas State tourney then maybe get bumped up.

SSUSA STAFF what I'm saying is that a 65aaa team paying $525 to play and now you throw in a major team in there division just doesn't seem right, nothing against any team. you pay to play against ones in your own rating. Ive never had a beef playing against major teams in seeding games to me they are just warm up games. And I'm not gripping just pointing out what I think isn't right.

Capt. I see the same ole stuff is happening there is 6 65AAA teams and one major 65 team and they put the major team in with the AAA;s seems to me that's not right a major team should not play in the same age division of AAA;s. this is a TOC birth so if there are no other 65 majors they have a free ride to the TOC. and this will make a difference in who wins the 65 AAA division.

Discussion: Time to move TOC

SSUSA is locked in to a contract thats all and good, the main thing i thin is this was a bad time slot from the start. when this event is held in feb. teams have changed players esp. when a team quialfies in the winter world and doesnt get to play until 13 months later, not only does the team have different players but they are 13 moths older, now thats a big deal. just not much thought went into making this a greater tournament than it is.

Discussion: Mask or Pitcher Protection Screen

Capt. Kirk i myself do not like to be forced to wear a mask it should be the pitchers choice. But about the screen my thoughts are that is wussifing the game to much if you can't play the position defensively change positions. With the screen you take the pitcher out of alot of defensive plays. Next 3rd base might be the progressive choice for a manatory mask or screen on and on and on. Just my thoughts please don't get to excited .

JB my piont is that if leagues don't make mandatory like the rule says some guy that gets hurt will sue and the ins. doesnt cover it he will sue the league and whos the league the board members, so thats who a lawyer will go after, this desision by SSUSA HAS put leagues in a very bad spot. the rule states all sanction events the mask is mandatory well to be a member of SSUSA you have to be scantioned. SSUSA should have put in there that league play a mask was not mandatory. so what makes league play anymore safe than tournament play, we are going to enforce the mask rule in our league to protect our butts-- good luck if you all don't.

Discussion: face masks

I called SSUSA weather or not if your league is registered with SSUSA if had to wear a mask. I was told that lin league play it was up to the league, and thats ok, but there rule said all sanctioned events the mask is mandated, here's the problem that i see coming if our league does not enforce the rule we will be open to a lawsuit, because we are scantion through SSUSA. does lawyer ring a bell to anyone.

Discussion: New rule

JBTexas i have a big problem with ssusa imposing this type of rule, i pitch and i dont like to wear a mask, my reason of thought is that if you don't have the defensive skill to play that position don't pitch. Looks like to me the liberal ideas of telling a person what equipment to wear ( wavier excluded) has entered the softball world.

Discussion: SSUSA AND SPA MEETINGS

my question is why not move the commitment line farther up the line, the present line is at 20feet from the scoring plate. no one is going to run 50 feet then back fifty feet to third, mske a more realistic commitment line and put it at least half way at 35 feet, forty feet even better then you have a real commitment line.I have been saying this for years, either move it to make a runner do some thinking or do away with it for as it is now there is no need for it.
