The PPR worked well in our case. Had 2 incidents and both showed what senior softball is about. Both hitters after hitting the pitcher, immediately walked to the mound with concern for the pitcher. Neither thought about first base first. Give Dallas Spurs a break at AA so they can compete and stay together. They are good guys.

Discussion: You make the call - umpire gets over-ruled by TD in Phoenix

Hacker you forgot one thing. The visiting team was allowed to change runners in the top of the inning using the reentry rule. The umps allowed that. In the bottom of the inning the home team just wanted to change runners, and the rest is history Either way both teams, turf pro and mustangs agreed these 2 umps made a mess of that game, minimum of 4 terrible calls. Too bad cause the rest of the games had excellant umps. I know cause I had a front row seat. Pitcher on turf pro.

Discussion: Should A Softball Batter Hit Up The Middle And Possibly Endanger A Pitcher?

As a pitcher on mens 60s i have to agree with southpaw. Hitters check your ego at home. Its still a game and we are a lucky bunch that can still play. In my six years of playing at this level, I have only seen parts of two teams that didn't care about the opposing pitcher. We wouldn't have senior softball without all the good people who play the game.
