Discussion: Legal Bats for the SPA tournament?

SPA uses the NSA approved bat list. I know the DeMarini EVO is not approved for NSA but the Catalyst is.

Discussion: USSSA - Panama City Beach

Last year in Blaine, USSSA used a .40 COR 375 compression Dudley. It was hot and humid during the tournament so the balls were very soft. The .40 COR 375 compression ball is the ball used by USSSA in Minnesota for championship events, such as state tournaments.

I've been told by this year's tournament director for Panama City that they will use either a .47 or .44 COR ball with a 525 compression.

Discussion: Can someone explain this.

I haven't seen any suspicious bats in senior place except some PSTs that didn't sound like a stock PST when hit.
