| March 24, 2009 WOW | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: SSUSA recommended hotels Atlantis and Peppermill are close to each other. THE PEPPERMILL IS NOT IN AN UNDESIREABLE AREA. In fact, it is one of the BEST if not THE best in Reno. Friendly staff, great food, absolutely awsome rooms. Feels like an upscale Vegas Strip Hotel. Downtown Reno, except for the Silver Legacy, is depressing. Too bad the SSUSA rates aren't special as advertised. |

Started at 5:30am and after the 3rd. downpour, realized we were fighting a loosing battle and finally had to give up. My team was checking specifically for the upcoming Reno tourn. when we found the rates were NOT "special", they were higher. I informed Dave that we were being quoted higher rates going through them than if we just called on our own. He said he would have Fran check into this as this was not supposed to be happening, and let us know. I'm sure the correct rates will be coming soon. |
