1.61 STRIKE ZONE MAT
A Strike Zone Mat will be used. The rectangular mat will be nineteen (19) inches wide and thirty-four-and-a-half (34-1/2) inches. The mat shall be made of rubber or other suitable material.
The mat will be placed over Home Plate and be aligned with the front edge of Home Plate. DEFENSE: A defensive player making a play at Home Plate will be allowed to complete the force-out play by touching any portion of the strike mat, not just home plate. If a defensive player kicks or moves the mat during the force play, the batter-runner scoring will be declared safe.

1. Not a five game guarantee. You got 3, or 4 games. That's $165 or $123.75 per game played.

2. Sub par fields.

3. Sub par Umpires. Lack of knowledge of Senior rules.

4.One bathroom at Itasca Softball Complex.

5. No parking at Itasca Softball Complex.

6. A second home plate. Too expensive, SSUSA will charge extra entry fee if extra plate is used.

7. 40 teams missing from this years tournament,Champaign around 90 teams total.

8. No plans for makeing up rain out games.

Hey George:
I suggest your team quit SSUSA and play on Saturday Morning in the Kirkwood League. Double hitter ,20 games total , $50 per player, and you will save alot of over priced entry fees. Plus alot less travel.
