The bats are not being altered, they are being protected. Being forced to use bats that cost over $250. and come without a warranty during cold weather that could very possibly break the bat is obviously unfair, and doing so in the name of safety is completely erroneous. Using that logic, leaving bats in the sun in July and August should also be illegal. Swinging a (physically) hot bat in the summer months is no more unsafe than swinging a heated bat in the spring. The concept of this thread is non sensical by its very nature. Please post the evidence that supports this rule, I'd like to see it. The rule should be changed. |
