Don & Kittrell's Congrads on winning the 55 Major in Naples.
It was good to see you & Bruce again, sorry that Elmo wasn't there.
You & your team are all class acts & we had 2 very exciting games against you, thought we were going to pull out the last game with our last at bat in the 7th.
Good Luck & hope to see you next year.

Discussion: dead ball out

Was in Phoenix this past weekend. 55 AAA.
I saw 5 pitchers get drilled while in the box & only 2 get called dead ball out. Another 2 were drilled out behind the box & no call. Base umpired made the call in each of them. We had a shot hit up the middle & never hit the pitcher but was in the box & ruled dead ball out.
Each umpire had a different opinion on how to call it or not call it. Not very consistence at all. Needs some work.
I say NO to a screen, only in BP.

Dave, another great job you did this weekend. Glad to see Fran as well. Have a safe trip home.
Both of you did a tremendous job on the field during the emergency on Friday when the palayer went down & on Sat with the heat-stroke/dehydrated player.
It always is a pleasure to have both of you running the tournaments that we have played in.
THANKS.couldnt do it with-out you.
