Discussion: Who is best to buy a new Meele from ?

Mike, I bought mine from Ed Andrews or surf88, he is top notch and competitivly priced. And he takes care of any issues you may have with your bat and in a timely manner.

Here in California we usually put a ball in the pocket and toss the glove back in the bag until the next weeks game(s). However this weeks games look in jeopardy with this rain. =(

Southernson, either he ages very well or this is a hoax. Or the FB page may be his son/grandson.

Kennard with your normal swing you can pretty well undress most middle players. I wouldnt want to see you antagonized. =)

Cerce, its a kids game we play. With your "confidence" you better thicken up your skin. I have a feeling you are in for far more ribbing then you are prepared for with your self gratifing attitude.
Prove yourself on the field, thats where it counts.
Is Tobays Tigers a tournament team or a local league team? If you want to showcase your talents, look for a tournament team, thats where the best play the best. imo

HJ thats pretty much what my Dr's told me, however they also told me the sugars in fruit were far more diluted then what we get from "alternate sources", that is what I am guessing they meant by good sugar.
Thanks for the info...

Mike, you are right there, it was chilly, we broke 2 in the 1st game saturday, both UII's, again, both were catastophic breaks, not small cracks. who knows how many more with mild cracks.
I used my Reebok the entire weekend without a problem.
I cant imagine what you big hitters must have experienced.

Tom , if I'm not mistaken you can play the 60 AAA. Since you are moving up and down at the same time, I think that only involves 1 move that matters. AA to AAA.
And who in their right mind is letting YOU play on their AAA team?

Ed, my Radiation/Oncology team recommened I eat more raw vegetables and fruit. As well as a good one a day vitamin suppliment. And as little sugar as possible. As well as little or no fast foods for obvious reasons.
I asked about the sugar in the fruit, and was told thats good sugar. Go figure.
I like the idea of juicing, after the radiation therapy on my throat I have swallowing issues. Thanks for the tip.

GI Thats very possible, Doug played for the Mavericks back before the Mustangs were formed, Doug loves the right side, but can hit it where they "aint", at will. He does play ss & 2b now. I'm not sure about who Doug played for that far back.
Doc Swear or the Wood, would know better then I.
On the issue of the fastest player in Senior ball, I would put Ernie Stucki up against anyone 55 up, unfortunately finding out will have to wait until we qualify for another TOC I guess.

Discussion: Curious about Bat Bags

I have tried each of the big team bags on the market today, I have never gotten more then one season out of any of them except the Boombah, I have dragged it thru airports and their baggage claims, and at least 12 tournaments a year for the past 3 years. The only damage so far is due to my lazy ass dragging it over obstacles that I shouldnt have and it has a few small holes in the end plate. When this one wears out I will certainly replace it with another of the same brand and model.
It carries 10 bats, 2 gloves, 2 pair of Tanel 360 shoes and many more things that I probably never see until the year end clean out.
Ed that Melee you sold me is finally getting broken in after a year and 4 months, it is every bit as strong as the Miken for pop. And that rattle is still there, I think you were right, it isnt anything more then dried glue that broke off inside. So far none of the Umps have flagged it on me.

Happy New Year guys!

Doug Peterson is the most uncanny & consistent leadoff I have seen. Plus he gives you a very solid SS/2b defense.

Son, you do realize that blonde on your lap will also be 80 years old, dont you? You may get lucky and get some 80 year old bourbon tho. And those bites will be from mosquitos most likely. Merry Christmas =)
